Channels: where your sales really came from
Every Shopify order counted once, under the one channel that brought it, next to what each ad platform says it made.
- Open Channels and pick the days at the top.
- Sales is your Shopify sales before tax. Each order is counted once, so the channels always add up to it, never more.
- Each row is one channel: Meta, Google, email, search, people who typed your address, and the rest. You see its sales, orders and share of all sales.
- If you can see ads, each ad channel also shows what you spent, what is left after the spend, and Sales per £1 of ads.
- Platform claims is the ad platform's own count. The gap shows how much more it claims than we can trace to it. Platforms often count the same order twice; we never do.
- Press How we got this to read the rule we use to give each order to one channel.
Platforms claim shows the total of every platform's claim. When it is bigger than your real sales, someone is counting the same orders.
